Judith Mellany Messer

Judith Melanie Messer lived from August 10, 1946 until September 5, 2024.

Judy was a proud mother to three children, Tina (Shawn) Mugavin, Scott (Kelly) Stahl, and Chad Deimling. She was a doting grandmother to four grandchildren, Sheena (Alex) Steckl, Cory (Samantha) Mugavin, Jake (Lisa) Stahl, Alexis (Tyler) Sanders. She was fortunate to get to spend time with her great-grandchildren, too: Asher and Noa Steckl, Sofia Stahl, and Baker, Arbor, and Avery Sanders. Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Darrell and Joyce Messer, and her brothers, Randy and Larry. In addition to her children, grandchildren, and great-great children, she leaves behind a dear sister, Becky, and a number of nieces and nephews, as well as many lifelong friends.

Judy took exceptional care of her family, laying a strong foundation for them all to thrive and grow. She was a customer service representative for Macy's for more than 20 years. She enjoyed puzzles and was a talented crafter. She loved life, was an easygoing soul, and was always good for a laugh. More than anything, we will miss her belly laugh.

There will be a celebration of life on Thursday, September 12 from 4:30-7:30 at Norlyn Manor 4440 OH-132, Batavia, OH 45103. A brief memorial service will begin at 6:30. Appetizers and Drinks will be provided.
