Munkelwitz, Judith Ann (Babbitt) age 83 formerly of Stillwater passed away Jan. 5, 2026.
She was born July 24, 1942 in St. Paul and grew up in Willernie. In 1960 she graduated from the Mahtomedi High School.
In April 1961 she married Richard Neumann. Their son Steven was born in 1963. Richard passed away in 1965.
Judith was united in marriage to Floyd Munkelwitz in 1967. Their son Michael was born in 1968. They made their home in the Stillwater area. Floyd and Judith owned and operated Capital City Disposal until retiring in 1999.
She enjoyed playing Bingo on Saturdays, quilt making, but especially loved her grand kids.
Recently she had moved to The Sycamore Assisted Living in River Falls.
Special thanks to Moriah, Olivia and the staff at The Sycamore who were wonderful to Judith.
Preceded in death by her husband Floyd; son Steven; parents Lester & Margaret; siblings Audrey, Buzz, Wayne, & Darlene; and first husband Richard Neumann. Survived by son Michael (Denise); grandsons Matthew (Caroline), Christian (Hannah), & Danny; and many nieces & nephews. Memorial Service to be held in May.
