Judith Novak Obituary
Of Wilkins Twp., age 80, passed away peacefully while surrounded by the love of her life, Ted, along with family and friends on Monday, August 5, 2024.
Judi was born in Sheridan neighborhood of Pittsburgh, on January 6, 1944, the daughter of the late Albert Egerter and the late Margaret (Britt) Egerter.
Beloved wife of Theodore "Ted" Novak for 7 years.
Loving stepmother of Kristen Novak, and step-grandmother of Sofia Novak-Bruni.
Also survived by Ted's son, Ryan (Tara) Novak, and their children, Marly, Tatum, and Kyle, and Ted's brother Dan (Tina) Novak, who provided tremendous support along Judi's journey.
Judi was also survived by countless friends and coworkers.
She was a 1961 graduate of St. Luke High School in Carnegie, PA. She was employed as an administrative assistant for 35 years at Pittsburgh Corning Corporation. Judi was a devoted Catholic, avid reader, an expert in Jeopardy, and a Pittsburgh Pirates fan. She enjoyed caring for her extended family, decorating, cooking and baking. Judi was well known for putting a special touch on every holiday and took great pride in her Irish heritage.
Friends are welcome Thursday from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at Patrick T. Lanigan Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., Turtle Creek / Monroeville Chapel, 1111 Monroeville Ave., Turtle Creek, 412-823-9350.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday at 12 noon in St. Colman Church of St. Joseph the Worker Parish.
Judi will be laid to rest on privately in Resurrection Cemetery-Moon Twp.
