Judith B. Paesani

Paesani, Judith Bartell, 92, died peacefully and surrounded by her family on November 24, 2025 in Wheeling, after an extended illness. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Aldene (Miller) Bartell of West Liberty.
Judy was a graduate of West Liberty High School, West Liberty State College, and the University of Connecticut. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church and its choir, Thursday Music Club and its chorus, Green Acres unit of CEOS, and West Liberty University Foundation Board. After raising her children, she had a successful career at the University of Connecticut School of Business and later as a partner of a real estate appraisal firm. Judy approached life with warmth, pragmatism, and optimism, characteristics she brought to her many activities, including book clubs, bridge groups, world travel, baking, sewing, and volunteering.
In addition to her parents, Judy lost her son, Stephen Paesani, and grandson, David Paesani, prior to her death.
Survivors include her husband of 69 years, Andrew Paesani, Jr.; her son, John Paesani; her daughter, Kate (Chris Brantley) Paesani; and her grandchildren, Kristen Paesani, Matthew (Kianna) Paesani, and Zachary Paesani.
At Judy's request, no services will be held. Kepner Funeral Home, 900 National Rd. Wheeling (304-232-2732), is assisting the family.
