Richard Opic Obituary
Publish in a newspaper
He was born on January 13, 1946, son of the late, Thomas and Helen (Wawok) Opic.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Clair Ann and brother, Thomas.
Richard is survived by his sons, Richard A. Opic, Jr., Ronald A. Opic (Michelle) both of Wheeling & James N. Opic (Mandy) of Adena, OH; 7 grandchildren, Shelby, Kayla, Kristy, Brittney, Landen, Addison, Maverick, Kaiser; 7 great- grandchildren; sister, Phyllis (Don) Lappert of Florida; and many nieces, nephews, & a multitude of friends.
Friends will be received on Monday December 1, 2025 from 1 – 3 pm and 5 – 7 PM at Kepner Funeral Homes, 166 Kruger Street, Wheeling, WV (#304-242-2311) where services will be held on Tuesday December 2, 2025 at 11 am.
