Judith Stuart Pearson

Judith Stuart Pearson, 82, of Hixson, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 20, 2025.

Judith retired from TVA after working many years doing procedure conversions and very instrumental in implementing the TVA Procedure Templates.

Judith lived a life filled with music, creativity, and adventure. She was an active member of the Choo Choo Cloggers and developed a deep love for bluegrass music, beginning her musical journey at the Mountain Opry, where she also performed. During retirement, she took up the mandolin, further nurturing her passion for music. Judith also enjoyed photography, taking classes to hone her skills.

An avid traveler, she especially cherished trips to England and Wales and attending bluegrass festivals. She delighted in collecting bears and found joy in the simple pleasures that reflected her warm and curious spirit.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Martha Muhlheizler.

Survivors include her sister, Ann Higdon (Glyndon); niece, Stacey Collins nephew, Gus Higdon (Adrienne); several great-nieces and great-nephews; and special friends Tracy Hightower, Phyllis Beene, and Steve Green.

The family extends special thanks to Hospice of Chattanooga and Goodens Compassionate Care for their compassionate support.

Celebration of Life will be 3:00 pm January 17, 2025 at Harrison Ruritan Club, 5709 Tyner Lane, Harrison, TN.
