Judith Pamela Ramsey, 82, of Aubrey, TX, passed away Friday, August 29, 2025 in Dallas, TX. Judith was born March 2, 1943 in Dallas to Joseph Russell and Elizabeth Katherine (Smith) Green. She married Frank Thomas Ramsey in Grand Prairie, TX on January 17, 1963. From a young age, Judith prayed for a husband who would be happy and laugh all the time. She met her husband, Frank, one summer in 1961 after graduation, at Lou Ann's Drive-in in Dallas, TX. She always said had she been one second either way, she would have missed him. He was sitting on the back of a convertible Corvette visiting from De Queen, AR. She loved him from the moment they met, and his laugh was exactly what she had prayed for. They were married 44 years and dated 2 years before marriage. Even after he died in 2007, Judith wore her ring and said she was still married. There would never be anyone else for her. The most important thing in her life was her Savior, King Jesus. She always said she never wanted to do anything to grieve her precious Savior and her life reflected that in all ways. Her Godly influence raised up a family of believers in Jesus Christ and because of that our family's grief is not of this world as we know we will see her again very soon. We all know she is in the arms of her Savior and with her sweet husband, our Dad and Papa, again along with all of her family who preceded her in death. The second most important thing was her family. In Judith's own words, written throughout her Bible is this, "My precious _____ (fill in the name of a family member)." Her family was precious to her, and we all knew how much she loved and cherished us. She would do anything for us. Her three grandsons and four great-grandsons brought her much joy and laughter. She spent as much time as possible with all of them and wanted her entire family around her as much as they were able, which was a lot because we loved her so much. Finally, Judith loved listening to her grandson, Tyler, preach the Word of God. It was one of her greatest blessings and joys, knowing he was teaching for Jesus, and she was able, in her final few months, to go to church and hear him in person. She also loved hearing her two children play in their Worship bands in their respective churches. Judith always said she was beyond blessed to have her whole family serve the Lord in ministry. Judith is survived by her son, Tom Ramsey and wife Tracy of Valley View, TX; daughter, Melissa Tillotson of Aubrey, TX; three grandchildren, Tyler, Seth, and Caleb; four great-grandchildren, Noah, Mathew, Jonah, and Levi; and several nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Katherine; husband, Frank; brother, Joseph Vance Green; and sister, Alma Millicent Ashcraft. A memorial service will be held at 4:30PM, Saturday, September 6, 2025, at Slay Memorial Chapel of Aubrey in Aubrey, TX with Tyler Tillotson officiating. Interment was at Dallas-Ft Worth National Cemetery in Dallas, TX. Online condolences may be shared at www.slaymemorialfuneralhome.com. Arrangements are under the direction of Terri Slay and Slay Memorial Funeral Center.
