Judith A. "Judy" Scrima went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 24, 2024 – Christmas Eve, at the age of 87. She was a loving wife of 48 years to Michael D. Scrima, who passed away on January 9, 2004. Devoted mom to Terri (Stephanie Chouinard), Scott (Heather), Todd (Debbie), Suzanne (Chris Nordby) and Mary. Cherished grandma of Tina, Anne, Joenelle, Jessica, Justin, Sam, Ariel, Alexandra, Rachel, Michael, and Preston. Great-grandma to 18 great-grandchildren. Sister of Jackie Johnson. Further survived by many other relatives and friends on both sides of the family. Preceded in death by her husband Michael and grandsons Vince, Nicholas, and Nathaniel and great-grandson James.
She was a life-long Waukesha resident, a 1955 graduate of Waukesha Highschool, now Waukesha South, and a cheerleader with her sister Jackie. She worked as a Teacher's Aide at Waukesha South Highschool, an Activities Aide at Oak Hill Terrace, and volunteered at First Assembly of God where she was a member for many years. Also she volunteered at the Waukesha Food Bank and Waukesha Public Library. She was a regular at the YMCA water volleyball class for many years.
She will be cremated with no formal services; however, in lieu of gifts or flowers, please consider a donation to the Alzheimer's Association of Wisconsin or call the Helpline at 800-272-3900.
