Judith Shaner Obituary

Judith K. Shaner, 81, St. Marys, WV, passed away Thursday, August 7, 2025 at Marietta Memorial Hospital. She grew up in Paden City the daughter of the late Roy and Ruth Virden Hutchison. She was a Pastors wife helping her former husband, Charles Kane at Praise Cathedral. She also attended God's Glory Church and Living Word Church. She was involved with many church activities. Judith ministered with her current husband, Paul Shaner. She enjoyed gardening, decorating, cookouts, and car rides. She was a loving mother, will be deeply missed, and was the rock of the family.
Survivors other than her husband include, two daughters, Christine Webb (Richard) Sockman, and Patricia Webb (Mike) Silliman; two sons, Larry A. Webb, II, and Michael David Kane; one step-son, Josh (Marelle) Shaner; six grandchildren, Nick Sockman, Sadie Silliman, Mallory Webb, Lucas Webb, Sophia Shaner, and Noelle Shaner; one great-granddaughter, Isabella Sockman; two sisters, Sue Ann Belcastro, and Kathy Tippman; and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life service will be at 3:00 P.M. Saturday, August 16, 2025 at Ingram Funeral Home, St. Marys, WV with Pastor Tim Nichols and Pastor Chris Pugh officiating, Friends may call from 2 to 3 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home. Judith donated her body to medical science.
