Roger L. Noland, 80, New Matamoras, OH, passed away Wednesday, September 17, 2025 at WVU Medicine Camden Clark. Born in Newport, OH, on February 27, 1945, he was the son of the late Pete and Anna Severs Noland. He was a 1963 graduate of Newport High School. Roger was a welder for Marietta Metal and retired from the Washington County Department of Highways after 30 years of service. He loved his dogs.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Debra Holdren Noland; one son, Christopher Noland; one daughter, Connie Noland; one granddaughter, Shelby Stack; two stepchildren, Cindi (Mark) Salyers, and Jo-Ann (Jason) Davis; several step-grandchildren; seven step-great-grandchildren; and one sister, Carol Paxton. He was preceded in death by his parents, step-grandson, Brian Forte, and brother-in-law, David Paxton.
There is no service at this time a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Washington County Humane Society. Ingram Funeral Home, St. Marys, WV is assisting the family with the arrangements.
