ROCK HILL, S. Car. — Judith E. "Judy" Sharp, age 78, of Rock Hill, South Carolina, and formerly of Arcanum, passed away September 4, 2021, at 2:09 p.m., at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill, South Carolina. She was born March 11, 1943, in Darke County, Ohio, the daughter of Charles Lloyd Bruner and Elizabeth (Ary) Bruner.
Judy was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She loved bowling, youth baseball and impacted many young people as a coach, umpire, and mentor.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Max Mann Sharp; sister and brother in-law, Phyllis (Bruner) and Daniel Patrick; and her grandson, Walker Daughtry.
Judy is survived by her five children, four bonus children and their spouses, Bobbie (Randy) Moxley, Jodi (David) Pearce, Billie Sharp, Jeffrey (Andrea) Sharp, Thomas Sharp, Angie (Ron) Dapore, Kathy (Al) Wilkins, Max "Mick" (Candy) Sharp, Anne (Douglas) Fike; 20 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren; four brothers and their spouses, Robert (Glenna) Bruner, Charles (Marilyn) Bruner, Thomas (Shirley) Bruner and Michael (Robin) Bruner.
A visitation will be held Friday, Sept. 10, 2021, from 4 to 7 p.m., at the Kreitzer Funeral Home, 204 N. Main St. Arcanum, OH 45304. A graveside service will be held Saturday, Sept. 11, 10 a.m., in the Greenville Union Cemetery, where Judy will be buried beside her husband, Max.
