Judith Smith Obituary

Published by Legacy on Nov. 13, 2025.
Judith "Judy" Smith, 65, passed away peacefully on October 31, 2025, due to natural causes. She was born on February 21, 1960, in Brockton, Massachusetts, to Lee and Robert Peralstein, and was known for her resilience, kindness, and unwavering love for those around her.
Throughout her life, Judy faced challenges with remarkable strength and optimism. She possessed an innate ability to find light even in difficult times and to see the good in others. Her sense of humor and easygoing spirit endeared her to everyone she met; she had a laugh that could brighten any room and a heart that welcomed all.
Judy was a devoted mother, sister, and grandmother whose compassion and generosity touched the lives of countless people. She was always ready to offer encouragement, lend a helping hand, or share a kind word. Her steadfast love and willingness to support others were hallmarks of who she was - genuine, selfless, and deeply caring.
She found peace and joy at the beach, her favorite place in the world. The ocean's rhythm and beauty reflected her own calm and gentle spirit. Those who knew her will forever think of her when they see a sunset over the water - a lasting reminder of the warmth and light she brought into their lives.
Judy is survived by her two sons - Joshua Weaver & Jonathan Weaver, two brothers - Michael Pearlstein & Daniel Pearlstein, and three grandchildren (Jake, Noelle, Ava), as well as numerous friends and extended family who will cherish her memory.
Funeral or celebration of life details will be announced at a later date.
May her light continue to shine in the hearts of all who loved her, and may her journey carry on peacefully beyond the horizon - as calm, steady, and full of grace as the ocean she loved.
