Judith Margaret Smith

Judith M. Smith, 84, of Bloomfield, CT, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 21, 2025. She was born on October 4, 1941, in Scranton, PA, the daughter of the late Francis Cusick and Mildred (Semeska) Cusick.

When Judy was three years old, her family moved to Hartford, where she grew up and graduated from Weaver High School. She and her late husband, Ronald F. Smith, Sr., later moved to Bloomfield, where they raised their family.

Judy was a kind, gentle, and religious woman who had a deep love for animals, especially cats and horses. She also enjoyed gardening, reading, and cooking.

She is survived by her two sons, David Smith and Michael Smith, both of Bloomfield, CT; her grandson, Alexander Paul Smith; her sisters, Janet Rey and Joan Gamache; and her brothers, Joseph Cusick and Jerome Cusick.

She was predeceased by her son, Ronald Smith, Jr., and her daughter, Carol Ann Smith.

Family and friends are invited to gather for Visitation on Monday, January 5, 2026, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Road, Enfield, CT. A funeral service will be held following the visitation, with burial at St. Patrick's King Street Cemetery.
