Judith was born on May 18, 1940 and on November 5th went home to be with her Lord and Savior.

She was born in Grinnell, Iowa and at 8 years old Judie moved with her parents to Southern California. Growing up she helped watch her younger brother and was much like a big sister to her nephews. Around 16 – 17 years of age she began nannying for some neighbors. She had a room in the house and along with taking care of the children, helped with cooking and cleaning.

She met the love of her life, James Stucky in 1958 at the Van Nuys Missionary Church. They sang in a chorale that traveled to different cities and sang in the choir together. They were married in 1960. After beginning their family, in 1966 they moved north to Turlock and in 1968 made their permanent home in Denair. Jim and Judie had 44 happy years together until Jim's passing in 2004.

Judie was a wife, homemaker, and mother to 4 children who she raised with discipline and love.

Accepting Jesus in her life as a young child, her faith never wavered. Throughout her life in the church, Judie sang in the choir, sang solos, played piano and was instrumental in spreading God's word and telling the stories of Jesus' life by teaching Sunday school to both children and adults.

Judie enjoyed time spent with family and friends, having dinners, talking and just being present.

Judie was a member of the Van Nuys Missionary Church, Denair Missionary Church, and for the last 30 plus years at the Turlock Free Methodist Church.

Judie is survived by a sister Wilma Britton – Idaho. Her four children, MaraLyn (Tim) Parker – Denair, Sue Virgo – Denair, Kay (Mike) Brown -Turlock, and Brad Stucky – from Denair. Five granddaughters, Sarah (Joe) Sanfilippo, Jannelle Virgo, Abigail (Tim) Minton, Rebekah (Ryan) Vieira, Grace (CJ) Mooneyham. Ten great-grandchildren, numerous nephews and nieces and many other kids old and young who affectionally called her "Grandma Judie".

She was preceded in death by her parents Leon Brown and Goldie Brown. Her husband of 44 years James Stucky. Her siblings Edith VanZee, Lauretta Pearce, and Robert Brown.
