Judy was born in Flint, Michigan on August 3rd, 1940, daughter to the late Vance and Wilma Swatosh. Judith was raised in Swartz Creek, Michigan, and was a proud graduate of Swartz Creek High School. She married the love of her life, Wayne D. Sutter on April 8th, 1961. At the time of her death, Judy and Wayne had been joyfully moving through life by each other's side for 64 years.

A loving and devoted homemaker, Judy prided herself upon maintaining a warm, tidy, and welcoming home (although she made her distaste for cooking quite known). Her love for tidiness and organization were evident in everything that she did, from the magnificently made bed each morning (wrinkle free) to the perfectly ironed items of clothing that brought comfort and order to her family’s lives. Judy was a homebody and found peace in her routine, whether it be sitting down to complete a dot-to-dot, watching her favorite westerns and soaps, or admiring her cherished collection of Precious Moments figurines. She also was known to grocery shop like nobody's business.

Judy was an avid lover of John Wayne movies, which transported her to a world of courage and adventure. She found great joy in her large collection of giraffe and panda figurines and stuffed animals, symbols of her gentle and nurturing spirit. Heart shaped decor filled her home, reflecting her endless and profound love for her family and friends.

Judy was described by everyone who met her as a deeply kind and generous soul, always ready to offer a listening ear, thoughtful word, or comforting presence. She may not have sought out the spotlight, but her quiet love and admiration has left a profound impact on all who knew her.

Judy is deeply missed and survived by her husband, Wayne Sutter; daughters, Gayle (Tim) & Penny; granddaughter, Zoë, and brother/sisters in-laws, many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and family pets, Lucy and Daisey.

Judy is greeted in heaven by many family members and special friends: Mary and Tom Clippard, Connie and Zeb Confer, Spike and Marion Davies, Carl and Donna Johnson, RoseAnn Lewis, Larry Miller, third daughter Jocelyn Starling, and beloved family pets Lady, Brandus, and Frannie.
