Judith Tomasetti Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Saul Colonial Home on Jan. 17, 2026.
Judith Ann Tomasetti, 79, of Hamilton, passed away on Wednesday, January 14, 2026 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in Hamilton surrounded by her loving family.

Judy was born in the Germantown section of Philadelphia; she was a graduate of Little Flower High school in 1964. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister & friend whose warmth and kindness touched everyone who knew her.

Judy retired from Mercer County Community College after 25 years, a job she truly loved. She had many friends and shared countless memories there. Her dedication and caring nature made her special to all who worked with her and all the students she helped. During her time at MCCC she was awarded the Human Relations award which was a very special honor.

We will forever treasure the fun summers spent together in Wildwood filled with joy, laughter, and memories that will stay with us always. Judy was also a member of the Hamilton Seniors Club. In her earlier years she was known for the beautiful, decorated cakes she made for family and friends for many special occasions. There was never a time Judy did not help her family with anything we ever needed, she was always there. Her love, support, and selflessness knew no bounds. She was a Girl Scout leader, Room mom, Dance mom, and Sports mom and also an animal mom to many family pets over the years. She never missed a moment and always put her family first.

Judy treasured time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren. Being their "Grammy" was one of the greatest joys of her life. Her love for them was endless and unconditional. She spoiled them dearly, always making them feel loved, special and cherished.

She was an amazing Mom, Grammy & Wife. She will be missed more than words can ever say, she was the center of all of our worlds.

Predeceased by her parents, William and Gladys Jefford and her brother, Bill Jefford, she is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, William C. Tomasetti, Jr., her brother-in-law, Michael Tomasetti and her sister, Barbara Jefford. She is also survived by her children, Judy Cote and her husband, Scott, William M. Tomasetti and his wife, Jackie and Linda Giarretta and her husband, Gary; as well as her seven grandchildren: Christopher & Cameron Cote, Valarie, Molly & Billy Tomasetti and Gianna & Dominic Giarretta.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, January 22, 2026, from 10:15 a.m. until 12:15 p.m. at Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square, NJ, with a funeral service beginning at 12:15 p.m.

Interment will follow at Saint John's Cemetery in Allentown, NJ.
