Judith Kathryn Wolfe 78, of Hiawatha, passed away February 6, 2026, at the Dennis & Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy. Visitation will be held from 4-7 PM, Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel Stateroom with a vigil service at 5:00 PM. Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 AM, Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at St. Pius X Catholic Church in Cedar Rapids. Inurnment will be in Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.

Judith was born on March 11, 1947, in Clinton, Iowa, the daughter of Edward Leonard and Marcella Rose (Irwin) McDermott. She graduated from Mt. Mercy College in Cedar Rapids. On September 6, 1969, she was united in marriage to Howard James "Jim" Wolfe in Petersville, IA. She worked as a Medical Technologist for 19 years and then as a Project Manager at GE Capital for 24 years. Judith was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church in Cedar Rapids. She was an avid walker and enjoyed playing golf, pickle ball, and bocce ball. Judith loved her children and grandchildren and spending time with them.

Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Jim of Hiawatha; children, Matthew (Amber) Wolfe of Overland Park, KS and Emily Dolezal of Mesa, AZ; grandchildren, Taylor and Hayden Wolfe and Reece, Rilynn, Ryken, and Ramsey Dolezal; siblings, Jack (Becky) McDermott of Maquoketa, Sue (Tony) Kalb of Dubuque, and Dick (Jennifer) McDermott of Channahon, IL; several nieces and nephews; and good friends, Chris and Gina Williams.

Preceding her in death were her parents; grandchild, Rowan Dolezal; and brother, Edward McDermott.

Memorials may be directed to Dennis & Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy, UIHC Stead Family Children's Hospital, club foot clinic, St. Pius X Catholic Church, or the charity of the donor's choice.
