Judson C. Turner

Judson Clyde Turner, 80, passed away September 20, 2022. A native of Startex, SC, Judson was the son of the late Martin Clyde and Annie McCall Turner. He was a United States Air Force Veteran who worked for forty years in government service. Mr. Turner spent a year in Iceland and several years in Charleston, SC, but most of his career in Greenville and Anderson, SC working for the Federal Aviation Administration before retiring from government service in 2005. He also worked for Lockheed Martin from 2005-2007. Judson enjoyed playing golf, cheering for the Clemson Tigers, working in his beautiful yard, and spending time with his family.
Surviving are his middle school sweetheart and wife of twenty years, Margo Davis Turner of the home; two daughters, Tracy Turner Imler (Randy), and Trish Turner Guilford (Philip); two sons, Jeff Michael Davis (Chandra), and Mark Christopher Davis (Sarah); fifteen grandchildren, Tori Turner, Taylor Hazlehurst (Tal), Peri Stark (Josh), Alex Finley, Lane Imler, Robbie Finley, Xan Davis, Ross Imler, Kate Finley, Leig Davis, Eleanor Davis, Adeline Guilford, John Davis, Ethan Guilford, and Max Davis; and four great-grandchildren.
Mr. Turner was predeceased by his son, Tony Turner; and two sisters, Margaret Bard, and Carolyn Fisset.
A graveside service will be held 11:00 AM Friday, September 23, 2022, at Wood Memorial Park.
The family will greet friends after the service at the gravesite.
