Patricia Bruce Obituary
A native of Spartanburg County, daughter of the late Homer Leon "Jiggs" Bruce and the late Florence Elizabeth Harbin Bruce, she was a retired dispatcher with Swafford Trucking Inc. and Spartan Express; and was a member of Faith Methodist Church.
Patti was a loving daughter, sister and aunt. She was known for her strength, wit, and unwavering support of those she loved. Over the years, she raised and cared for a variety of animals, from spirited horses to loyal dogs, each one becoming part of her extended family. Her home was always filled with the sound of hooves, paws and the joy that came with them
Surviving are her brother, Hugh Bruce (Lila) of Greer; a niece Julie Upton (Jason) of Greer; and a nephew Neil Bruce (Jessica) of Greer; and three great nephews, Maddox, Collier and Beau.
Memorial services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 8, 2025, at The Wood Mortuary Chapel, conducted by Dr. Drew Hines.
Visitation will be held 9:30-10:45 a.m. Monday, December 8, 2025, at The Wood Mortuary.
The family will be at their respective homes.
Memorials may be made to Greenville Humane Society, 305 Airport Road, Greenville, SC 29607.
