Judy A. Allen, 76, of Covington IN, passed away 6:58AM Thursday November 7, 2024 at Franciscan Health in Lafayette IN.
Judy was born January 22, 1948 in Sharkey, KY, the daughter of Jessie Nelson and Betty Florence (Eldridge) Hicks. She married Herman D. Allen in 1973; he preceded her in death September 7, 1987.
She is also preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Sam Hicks; and twin sons, Eric and Wayne LaFoe.
Surviving family include three sons, Marty (Christy) LaFoe, Covington; Brian LaFoe, New Castle, IN; Dwayne Allen, Covington; two daughters, Roxie (Ronnie) Weaver, Veedersburg; Ashley (Levi) Spicer, Covington; four sisters, Madge James, Molly (Richard) Burns, Debbie Hicks, Monica (Chris) Clawson; ten grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Judy was employed as a CNA at the Waters in Covington for 21 years prior to her retirement. She enjoyed attending the small-town festivals throughout the area, especially the Rainsville Antique Power Show. More than anything she loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them.
