Judy Borodenko, 82, passed away on Tuesday, September 30, 2025 at her daughter's Home in Mattawan, MI.

Judy (Judith) was born on November 04, 1942 in Chicago, IL. Judy was preceded in death by her parents, John and Marie (Finn) Sheehan; husband, Frank S Borodenko; sisters, Jeraldine Courtney, Joannie Antonello, brothers, Joey, Jimmy, Johnny Sheehan; and her fur baby (cat), Rosie.

She is survived by her daughter, Anna (Nick) Deleganes of Mattawan MI, son, Frank R Borodenko of Covington MI; grandchildren, Emily Morris of Portage MI, Elizabeth (Eric) Hendrickson of St Louis, MO and Alex Hendrickson of Holland MI, great-granddaughter, Lilia; and several nieces and nephews.

In 1963, Judy married Frank S Borodenko in Chicago, IL. They raised their family in Chicago before moving to Holland MI in 1976. In 1984 they moved to South Bend, IN. Judy attended IU University and worked in the accounting department at Bendix Corp/Allied until retiring. In retirement, Judy kept busy working part time at Fannie Mae Candy and as a tax preparer during tax season. Judy enjoyed reading, cooking, attending plays, chatting with her best friend Betty, spending time with her children and grandchildren, and doting over her great-grandchild. She also enjoyed peaceful days with her beloved cat, Rosie, and relaxing on her patio on summer evenings. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Visitation will be Friday, October 3, 2025 from 1-2PM at St. Joseph Funeral Home. Entombment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in South Bend, IN. Online condolences can be made at sjfh.net.
