Seminole resident, Judy Calger, passed away, Monday, April 14, 2025, in Midwest City, at the age of 66 years.
Judy, the daughter of Acie and Velma (Barker) Calger, was born February 10, 1959, in Marlow, Oklahoma. She graduated from Pleasant Grove High School, with the class of 1977. She then attended Seminole State College. Judy worked in health care, in the home health industry. She enjoyed sewing and making jewelry, and she was a great cook, but nothing was as important to Judy as time spent with her family, particularly her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Acie and Velma Calger; brothers, Jim Calger, Harold Calger, Danny Calger, Ralph Calger, and Ricky Calger; and sisters, Peggy Bebout, Wanda Sturmon, Shirley Calger, Jane Calger, and Carolyn Sue Harrison.
Judy is survived by her son, Joshua Brown, of the home; daughter, Sara Patton, of Midwest City; grandchildren, Alexander Patton and Niyah Milligan; a brother, Donnie Calger, of Shawnee; sisters and brothers-in-law, Marilyn Rains, of Purcell, Barbara Townsend, of Purcell, and Berta Harris, of Seminole; along with many other family members and friends.
No services are scheduled at this time. Cremation services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole.
