Judy Ann (Barley) Christian, age 74 and a resident of Warsaw, passed away on Sunday, March 5, 2023.
Born on February 20, 1949 to Cloise and Esther (Pratt) Crowel, Judy grew up in the Warsaw area in the home of an extended family member. She spent her lifetime in Kosciusko County, working for Maple Leaf Farms and Warsaw Community High School. She was a hard worker, even working in retirement at McDonald's restaurant.
Judy liked to dance and liked all types of music. She enjoyed going to the First Friday concerts in Warsaw and was a huge Elvis fan. She rarely missed Days of Our Lives or The Young & The Restless. She loved gardening and being outdoors and never met an animal she didn't like.
Those who survive include four children: Donald Barley of Oswego, Tammy Lockhart of Warsaw, Charisse (Adam) Gunkel of North Webster and Billy (Carrie) Barley of Hartford City; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and two sisters: Ethna (Gary) Wyninger of Arkansas and Priscilla Swain of Warsaw. She was preceded in passing by daughter, Teresa Barley; brother, Rolland Crowel and niece, Rachel Swain.
Titus Funeral Homes and Cremation Services are entrusted with Judy's care. Friends may gather with the family at New Hope Freewill Baptist Church, 3651 N Detroit Street, Warsaw on Saturday, March 11 from 3 to 5 p.m. Memorial gifts should be directed to New Hope Church at the address above.
