Judy Jordan Obituary
Judy was born and raised in Franklin, Kentucky. She was the oldest of three, with two younger brothers. She treasured her relationships with her brothers Randy and Johnny. Judy married Gary Jordan and combined they raised three daughters: Marcy, Nichole and Kristina. Determined to make a difference, Judy went to college with three young girls at home to become an R.N. Her nursing career took her to many places, while the majority of her years were spent working at Memorial Hospital, Chattanooga, TN in dialysis and on the IV & PICC team. She was loved by all her coworkers. Judy was talented and blessed with a variety of gifts. She had an eye for decorating, could sew, garden, and painted beautiful paintings. Her legacy lies with her nine grandchildren and soon to be nine great-grandchildren. They adored her and she them. Her spirit will live on in them, and she will be with us forever.
She was preceded in death her parents, her husband Gary Jordan (2022), her brothers Randy Gomer and Johnny Gomer, and nephew Kevin Gomer.
She is survived by her 3 daughters: Marcy Stephens Kendall (Sims Kendall), Nichole Jordan-Lewis (Rod Lewis), Kristina Jordan-Hospedales (Russell Hospedales), her nine grandchildren Morgan Stephens, Kendell Riberio, Nicholas Herren, Jordan (Jill) Madrigal, Josiah (Anna) Madrigal, Joselena Madrigal, Jeremiah Madrigal, Jonah Madrigal, Jaden Madrigal and her great-grandchildren Stella, Carson, Brogan, Anna, Leo, Graham, Blakely, Cash and Laylyn coming in January 2026.
Funeral Services for Judy will be held 1:00 PM Friday, November 21, 2025, at Heritage Funeral Home East Brainerd Chapel with Pastor Fred Fuller officiating.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 1:00 Pm prior to service.
The Committal Service will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, November 22, 2025, at Hamilton Memorial Gardens in Hixson, TN.
