She was born on March 29, 1944, in Madison, Wisconsin to Howard and Margaret (Haefner) Butler. Judy worked in the newborn nursery at St. Mary's Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin and was dearly loved by her babies and co-workers. She was a member of the Advent Christian Church. Holidays and family gatherings were special times for Judy. She valued the time she was able to spend with her children and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter-Robin Renee Eldridge, 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
Owens Funeral Home in Alexandria has been entrusted with Judy's care and simple cremation arrangements.
