Rebecca E. "Becky" Allen

ALEXANDRIA, IN – Rebecca E. "Becky" Allen. 63, passed away unexpectedly in her residence on Thursday, November 13, 2025, from natural causes.
Becky was born in Anderson on June 6, 1962, to Ora and Nona (Cunningham) Allen and was a lifetime Alexandria resident. She was a graduate of Alexandria-Monroe High School-Class of 1980 and attended Ball State University. She worked at DeVoe Chevrolet for several years. Most recently, Becky had worked at the Anderson Bureau of Motor Vehicles for the past 4 years where she earned honorable recognition in the State of Indiana for excellence in customer service. When she attended the Alexandria First Christian Church she could often be found helping and serving meals and always lending a helping hand. Becky was a fan of any sport her kids could be found playing, as well as IU athletics, especially IU basketball! She was the #1 fan of her children and their achievements as they were growing up. With the arrival of her grandchildren, Grayson, Lily and Addie, Becky became a diehard and devoted Mamaw! She always took the time to enjoy any adventure with her family and friends, especially since she was an avid Dave Matthews Band fan and loved nothing more than a beach vacation. Becky never knew a stranger. She will be fondly and warmly remembered for her giving spirit and her big heart that she shared with everyone.

Former Sister-in-law-Gerry (Michael) Cloncs and her children Brandon Allen and Marnie Allen Zeller
Special friends-Jama Spade, Chris Collins, Andrea Plough and a host of other friends too numerous to mention by name
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers- David Allen and Dan Allen.
Services honoring Becky's life and legacy will take place at 1 pm on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, in the Owens Funeral Home, 412 North Harrison Street, Alexandria with Pastor David Kyle officiating. Interment will follow in Vinson Memorial Cemetery in Summitville. The Allen family will receive friends from 4 pm to 8 pm on Tuesday in the funeral home.
