Judy Linda McClain

Judith Linda “Judy” McClain, 83, of Colliers, WV passed away at Weirton Medical Center on Tuesday, December 16, 2025. Judy was born on February 16, 1942 in Steubenville, Ohio to the late Margaret “Sis” and Albert “Abby” Taylor.  

Judy attended St Peter’s Catholic Church and was a devout Catholic. She graduated from Catholic Central High School. As a teenager she worked at People’s Drug Store. She spent her adult years working at M&M True Value Hardware on Sunset Blvd. Judy loved watching the birds in the feeder on her back deck. She also enjoyed admiring her trees and plants in her yard.  Most of all she enjoyed time with family and friends. 

Family gatherings for holidays and birthday parties brought her much joy.  Preceding Judy in death are her husband, William R. “Mac” McClain, the love of her life;  daughters Cheryl Sida and Jayne Moran; stepson Scott McClain; three sisters Joyce Smith, Patricia Isaac, and Mary E. “Betsy” Westlake and brother John “Goose” Taylor.  

Judy is survived by her son Tom (Melissa) Moran, stepson Ron (Tammy) McClain and sister Kathryn Taylor. 11 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
