Judy D. Rush, 80, passed away peacefully on Feb. 20. 2026, in Graham, Texas. She was born June 5, 1945 to Roy Henry Taylor and Bessie Martha Erwin Taylor in Bynum, Texas.
Later the family moved to Graham, Texas where Judy grew up. She graduated from Graham High School, Class of 1963, and remained lifelong friends with many of her classmates. She went on to have 3 children.
On July 29, 1989, Judy married Charles Ray Rush in Graham, where they shared the rest of their days together, basking in their love and devotion to each other and all of their children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. After Charles passed in 2001, she stayed in Graham and continued running their oil and gas business. She loved her family and friends and spending time with them. Judy was very devoted to her church and loved our lord and savior with all of her heart. She also went on several mission trips to share the word of God to other parts of the world.
Judy is survived by her daughter Jacque Ramsey and husband Joe, her son Bryan Snow and fiancé Brenda, 2 brothers, Kenneth Taylor and wife Linda, and Leonard Taylor and wife Virginia, 4 grandchildren, Chelsie Elkins and husband Michael, Emilee Snow, Ashton Reese, and Kaci Reese, 4 great grandchildren, and many other cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Ray Rush, her son, Casey Roy Elliott, parents, Roy and Bessie Taylor, 2 brothers, Donald Taylor and Jackie Douglas Taylor, and 2 sisters, Ann Burdell and Jean Dunn.
Visitation will be held at Morrison Funeral home in Graham, Texas from 5-7 pm., Friday Feb. 27, 2026.
Funeral services will be held at Oak Street Baptist Church in Graham, Texas, at 2:00 pm. Sat., Feb. 28, 2026. Graveside will be held immediately after, at Pioneer Cemetery.
Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to Open Door Christian School, 735 Oak St, Graham, Texas 76450.
