Judy Marie Smith, 76, of Idaville, passed away on Monday, March 16, 2026 at IU Health White Memorial Hospital in Monticello.
She was born on December 1, 1949 in Delbarton, WV to the late Donald and Lois (Worley) Kitchen. On September 4, 1969 she married Ronnie G. Smith, Jr. He passed away on October 26, 2009.
She graduated from Tuley High School in Chicago and was a homemaker. She enjoyed playing Bingo at the Knights of Columbus and enjoyed watching old sitcoms. She was an excellent cook and was known for her Robert Redford Dessert. She was a maticulous housekeeper and her home was spotless.
She is survived by her son, Ronnie Smith of Idaville; brother, Donald K. (Susan) Kitchen of Burnettsville; three sisters, Virginia (Richard) Ners of Clermount, FL, Mary (Martin) Weir of St. Charles, IL, Karen (Earsmo) Lamas of Chicago, IL; granddaughter, Shayla Cheyenne Dener.
In addition to her parents and husband Ronnie, she was also preceded in death by brothers, Eugene "Bobby" Kitchen, William Kitchen, James Richard Kitchen; sister, Ann Certa.
Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the time of services at 1:00 pm Thursday, March 26, 2026 at Springer-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home of Monticello with Harold Rutledge officiating.
