Judy Ellen Tipton Way, 81, of Georgetown, passed away Thursday, March 20, 2025 at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington.
Born October 17, 1943 in Lexington to the late Thomas Price & Kathleen Stevens Tipton, she worked for many years at Kenton Place Nursing Home and Big B Cleaners. She enjoyed cooking, sitting outside, spending time with her grandkids & beloved dog Sadie, and watching her favorite television programs: Gunsmoke, Wheel of Fortune and The Price is Right.
Surviving are 2 sons: Bobby Eugene (Shirley) Way & Donald Wayne Way; 5 daughters: Regina Way (Randy) Sons, Karen Way (Aaron) Pfalzer, Billy Jo (Lisa) Keene, Angela (Shawn) Ross & Kathy (Larry) Carter; 3 brothers: Thomas (Diana) Tipton, Jr., Sammy (Lyla) Tipton & Mikey (Marie) Tipton; 4 sisters: Mildred (Danny) Snyder, Rosemary Abrams, Loretta Ratliff & Ida Smith; 17 grandchildren including Michael, Shannon & Steven Way; several great-grandchildren including Dakota & Reagan Walker, and Kennedyy, Kalii & Skyler Way; 1 great-great grandson, Dawson Walker; and her devoted caregiver, Taylor Barns.
Also preceding her in death were 4 sisters: Donna Joy & Sunbeam Tipton, Toni Davis and Dovie Taylor.
Services will be 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 25th at Victory Tabernacle, 511 East Washington Street, Georgetown with burial to follow in Georgetown Cemetery.
Casketbearers will be Randy Sons, Dakota Walker, Donald Wayne Way, Michael Way, Skyler Way and Steven Way.
Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. Tuesday until the time of service.
