Judy Anne "Chappel" White

Judy Anne Chappel White, of Campbellsville, the daughter of the late Bennie and Louise (Atkins) Hunt, was born April 21, 1945 in Marion County, KY and departed this life on Monday, February 16, 2026 at the Taylor Regional Hospital. She was 80 years of age.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Salem Baptist Church.

She was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom. She especially enjoyed a lively round of bingo, and often found peace working outside. Her family talks of her love of Elvis, and the joy she spread when spending time with her grandkids.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Clarence Gerald Chappel; a son: Jamie Chappel; and a sister: Ina Bailey.

Survivors include a son: Mark Chappel and wife Janie; a daughter: Lucretia Bryant; and a daughter-in-law: Kathy Chappel, all of Campbellsville.

Also a brother: Jim Hunt and wife Sue; a sister: Diane and husband Troy, all of Campbellsville; seven grandchildren: Amy Reynolds, Jay Chappel, Kayla Cox, David Chappel, Tyler Quinn, Alexis Spires and Dylan Reeves; twelve great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.

The funeral service for Judy Anne Chappel White, will be Wednesday, February 18, 2026 at 11:00 A.M. at the L.R. Petty Funeral Home in Campbellsville.

Officiating: Bro. Jimmy York

Interment in the Chappel Cemetery at Knifley.

Visitation 5-8 P.M. Tuesday and after 8:00 A.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.
