Rose Clark Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by LR Petty Funeral Home and Cremation Service on Feb. 19, 2026.
Mrs. Rose Anne Clark of Campbellsville was born on October 15, 1965 in Jefferson County to the late Luther and Margaret (Sidwell) Edwards. She departed this life on Thursday, February 19, 2026 at her residence, having attained the age of 60 years, 4 months, and 4 days of age. She was the devoted wife of Mr. Ronald Clark, who survives. Mrs. Clark's role in life was to be a mother, and she was a cherished one to many, both to natural and chosen children. She had a big heart and the constant support she provided them will be dearly missed.

Besides her husband, she leaves to carry her legacy:

Six children: Rebecca Nelson, Timothy Nelson and wife Tamara, Sarah Hedgespeth and husband David, Jessica Clark, Leslie Clark, and James Tuliano,

Two siblings: Virginia Wilson and Raymond O'Rafferty,

Eleven grandchildren: Devon Lakins, Ethan Young, Justice Nelson, Noah Nelson, Logan Nelson, Jacob Hedgespeth, Ensley Rose Hedgespeth, Jaxon Clark, Jaz Bright, and Jagger Bright,

And a host of step-siblings, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

She was also preceded in death by an infant daughter: Margaret; a grandson: Hunter Hedgespeth; and four siblings: Billy O'Rafferty, Bobby O'Rafferty, Lucas Edwards, and Lowell Edwards.

There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Mrs. Clark on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at 1:00 PM in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home, 1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville.

Bro. Jeff Newton will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Palestine Baptist Church Cemetery.
