Julaquis Minnifield Sr

Mr. Julaquis Minnifield, 43, of Waterbury, was taken from us all to soon unexpectedly, Sunday, September 11, 2024.
Mr. Julaquis Minnifield was born in Waterbury November 7,1980 a son to the late Angel (Minnifield) Norman and John Jasper Woodson Jr.
"JuJu" as he was known by all was educated in the Waterbury school system. He attended Wilby High School where he played on the junior varsity team. After high school he did various jobs including mechanical, home improvement and painting. He then began exploring his creative side and began designing and printing his own tee shirts. He also worked working at Footlocker. "JuJu" was a loyal friend to those he loved. His kids were very important to him. In his spare time, he enjoyed playing basketball, spending time with his family and friends. Julaquis proudly gave back to his community every day with his team members "Bone of An Angel" where they fed many homeless and less fortunate people on a daily basis. Julaquis will be missed dearly by many friends and family.
Julaquis leaves behind, a wealth of children; Julaquis Minnifield Jr, Chantey Durrett, Xavier Durrett, Tiana Minnifield, Jeremiah Ocasio, Jamir Angel Minnifield, Emani Minnifield
Jelani Minnifield, 2 grandchildren; Ja'Leigh and Jayce Martinez, siblings; Fatima Minnifield, John Jasper Minnifield Jr., Wendell Minnifield and Freddy Norman, four aunts; Sharon Porter Jones, Betty Minnifield, Tina Minnifield and Gloria Minnifield, one uncle; Marvin Woodson, several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends. He was predeceased by son King Amir Minnifield.
