Juliana Bent passed away peacefully on September 18, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
Born on August 11, 1952, to Jack and Joanna Fuls, she grew up in Bend, Oregon. Juli later moved to Portland where she met her future husband Phil. They got married and settled in Portland, where they raised their three daughters until they relocated to Banks, Oregon. Juli found joy in tending to her chickens and alpacas on their farm.
Juli and Phil were married for 47 years before Phil passed away in February 2025. Juli brought happiness to everyone she met with her vibrant personality, always having a witty or funny remark ready. As she bravely navigated her cancer journey, she would make the staff laugh at each appointment, even when she was the one needing the care.
Generally opposed to working for anyone but themselves, Juli and Phil were entrepreneurs at heart. They started and grew successful companies, with Fillup’s Trucking being their most recent venture. Juli was the mastermind running everything behind the scenes.
Remember how we mentioned Juli’s wit? You can’t be that witty without being incredibly intelligent. She was sharp, and no one could get anything past her. In her real estate journey, she never encountered a closing that didn’t have an error or a miscalculation. She also enjoyed playing word games and could spend hours playing cribbage with her husband, Phil.
Juli had a heart of gold. She was the mom to take care of all the other kids. She took good care of her family including her brother Jon and her husband as he battled Alzheimer’s. She was always there for any of her kids or her grandkids to call and hear the most authentically happy and welcoming voice and give the best advice.
Juli lived a good life and will be sorely missed. She is survived by her three daughters Willow, Chelsea (Zach) and Adrianne, eight grandkids: Phoenix, Aiden, Kaiya, Beatrix, Eleanora, Abbie, Hudson and Oliver, and by her brother Jon and sister Kimmie.
