Julia Atmore (Born Squires)
April 10, 1959 – January 17, 2026
Julia Atmore, passed away on January 17, 2026, at the age of 66. She was born on April 10, 1959, and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Julia was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose love for her family ran deep. She married John Atmore, in January of 1978 and though they later divorced, they shared a beautiful life together and raised their four children.
Julia was a woman of faith and was devoted to the church, finding comfort, strength, and guidance through her beliefs. She enjoyed spending time outdoors and loved camping and fishing with her life partner Ron Pickett, or anytime it meant being surrounded by the people she loved most.
Julia was preceded in death by her parents, Jack Squires, Ivalou and Bert Woolsey; her sister Kris; her brothers David and Jack; and her daughter, Nicole, and Ron Pickett.
She leaves behind her children, Andy, Lacie, Stacie, Taylor(Brandi), and Cody, a special grandson she loved as her own and thought of as one of her children. As well as her grandchildren, Skyler, Aylah, Camdan, Kaden, Denver, Alexi, Jacee, Anna, Shailynn, Saydee, Andrea, and Kaylor, and seven great-grandchildren who will carry her memory forward with love.
Julia's life will be remembered for the love she gave, the strength she carried, and the impact she made on the people around her. Her family will forever hold her close in their hearts.
A viewing will be held Friday, January 23, 2026 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Myers Mortuary in Ogden, 845 Washington Blvd. A viewing will also be held Saturday, January 24, 2026 from 9:30-10:30 with services to follow at 11:00. Following the service, interment will take place at Myers Evergreen Memorial Park. A luncheon will be held following at 250 North 1500 West, Marriott-Slaterville, Utah.
