Julia Ann Boone

Julia Ann Boone, 83, of Ocala, FL, passed away peacefully in her home on November 30, 2025. Julia was born on August 27, 1942, in Rensselaer, IN, to Lawrence and Marjorie Jordan. She attended Chalmers High School and graduated in 1960. She then moved to Indianapolis & attended/taught beauty school. Her most fulfilling career was as Director of Resident Services at the Forum at the Crossing for 25 years. She enjoyed a project, especially if it involved sewing or decorating. Those who loved her will remember her generosity, selflessness & her quiet wit. Julia is survived by her husband, Harold Diederich, her children, Laurie Boone Klauber (Steve) & Anthony “Tony” Boone (Annie), her grandchildren, Rachel & Carly Klauber, Brock & Parker Boone, and her siblings, Mary Jordan, Gene Jordan & Don Jordan. A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 16th at 10:00 am at Flanner Buchanan- Washington Park North, 2706 Kessler Blvd, West Drive in Indianapolis, IN. Family and friends are invited to attend & honor Julia's life. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Jude’s's Children's Research Hospital, which was meaningful to Julia.
