Julia Congleton Bryant, a remarkable individual, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 16, 2025. Leaving behind a lasting legacy that will forever warm our hearts. Her memory continues to inspire everyone who had the privilege of knowing her, shining brightly in our lives.
Born and raised in the quaint town of Everetts, NC. Julia's journey took her to East End High School in Robersonville, NC, where she truly made her marks. As captain of the basketball team, she showcased her exceptional talent and leadership skills. Leading her team to victory as the top scorer throughout her high school years. Under the guidance, the team clinched the championship, a testament to Julia's determination and passion for the game. Her spirit and achievements will always be remembered and celebrated.
Julia C. Bryant's remarkable journey began right after high school, fueled by her passion for education and a dream to inspire young minds. She enrolled at Elizabeth City State University, where she quickly became a vibrant force on the campus. Known for her infectious spirit. Julia captivated everyone not only as a standout cheerleader but also through her heartfelt dedication to service and her friendly, welcoming demeanor.
Through persistence and hard work, Julia achieved her goal, graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Education. But her contributions didn't stop there. A proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc., she also took on vital roles, including Past Basileus. Her involvement extended to organizations like The Moles, Inc and The Links Inc. and she was the dynamic chair of The Down East Classic. Moreover, Julia made her mark on the community by serving on the Board of NC Wesleyan, and the Boys and Girls Club. Further solidifying her commitment to shaping a brighter future for others.
Julia's journey is a testament to her passion and drive, making her an inspiring figure wherever she went.
Dr. J. E. Bryant who sadly departed this world before Julia, embarked on a remarkable journey filled with love and unforgettable moments alongside her. Their unique bond has left an indelible mark on the lives of everyone fortunate enough to witness their connection.
