Funeral service for Julia Mae Hill Dutton, 88, will be Sunday, October 9, 2011, at 3 p.m. at Berea Baptist Church with Bro. Tim Martin and Bro. Bruce Fitzgerald officiating and Lawrence Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Moulton Memory Garden. Visitation will be 2 hours prior to the service at the church.

Mrs. Dutton, who died Friday, October 7, 2011, at Lawrence Medical Center, was born June 28, 1923 in Morgan County to Clarence Cever Hill and Zola Mae McMillan Hill. She was a Supervisor at Lawrence Corporation. She was a devout Christian and the last charter member of Berea Baptist Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and neighbor, always there to help others. She was full of life, love and laughter. Mrs. Dutton was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Howard Wiley Dutton; and two brothers, Eugene Hill and Lyle Carroll Hill.

Survivors include two sons, Boyd W. (Betty) Dutton and Roger H. (Barbara) Dutton, both of Moulton; three daughters, Sherry (Jim) McAlister of Moulton, Judy Shelton of Hartselle, and Patsy D. Cole of Moulton; eleven grandchildren; and 29 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be grandsons. Honorary pallbearers will be great-grandsons, Deacons past and present of Berea Baptist Church.

The family requests no flowers. Please make donations and gifts to Berea Baptist Church Youth Program.
