Julia B. Gant

Julia Bonita Gant, born February 4, 1954 departed this life on Saturday, November 2, 2024. She was the loving wife of Wilson "Gary" Gant with whom she shared 45 years of marriage.
She resided in South Boston, VA until the age of 5 years old. Thereafter, living in Brooklyn, NY for 39 years before moving to East Stroudsburg, PA.
Julia retired as a staff analyst for the New York City Human Resources Administration with over 40 years of service.
In addition to her Husband, she is survived by her Daughters, Tanya Gant of Brooklyn, NY and Marissa Gant of Bronx, NY; two grandchildren, Terrell Gant lovingly known by Julia as "Sweetheart" and Loren Gant; Five cousins; Ann Long, Patricia Logan, Ron Logan, Linda Lewis and Shari St. Romain. Her special friends; Marilyn Self, Doris Husband, Barbara Davenport Kenney, Sandra Barber, Nikki Langford, Lisa Clark, Tammy Roberts and Cassandra Chisholm. Her church sisters; Camille Hendrix, Maureen Kirton, Francine Benton and Shelley Newton.
And a host of other family and friends.
A memorial service celebrating Julia's life will be announced by the family in February 2025.
Cremation arrangements were entrusted to the William H. Clark Funeral Home in Stroudsburg.
