Julia Elizabeth McCord

McCord, Julia Elizabeth, 83, a resident of Prattville, AL, passed away on Friday, June 2, 2023. Funeral services will be held at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church on Tuesday, June 6, 2023 at 11:00 am with Rev. Jeff Fray officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church on Tuesday from 10:00 am until 11:00 am. Mrs. McCord was preceded in death by her parents, William and Julia Goodson; husband, George Brewer McCord; sister, Nora Lee Barrett. She is survived by her daughter, Glenda McClain (Nelson); two sons, George Michael McCord (Julie) and Anthony Reed McCord (Jill); four sisters, Kathleen McCord, Lucille McCord, Edith Williams (Harvey) and Margaret Boone (Donald); six grandchildren, Josh McCord, Jake McCord (Lizzie), Matt McClain (Mindi), Stephanie Bumpers (Wesley), Paige McCord and Reed McCord; eight great, grandchildren; extended family and friends.
