Ruby Jeanette Britt

Ruby Jeanette Britt, age 88, a resident of Deatsville, AL, passed away on March 17, 2025, at a local hospital after a brief illness.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, March 21, 2025, at 2 PM at Prattville Memory Gardens in Prattville, AL, with Pastor Mark Wilson officiating and Prattville Memorial directing.
Ruby was a retired employee of Gayfer's and, until her illness, an active member of Coosada Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin and Mae Belle Baxley, nine siblings, and her husbands, Hugh Merrell Tomlin of 33 years and Oberon (OB) Britt of 22 years.
She is survived by her sister, Linda Alexander of Braselton, GA; daughter, Becky Tomlin of Deatsville, AL; sons, Don Tomlin of Prattville, AL, Bob Tomlin (Terri) of Jacksons Gap, AL; Son In law Mark (Jan) Britt, Millbrook, AL; grandchildren, Heather (Jason) Till, Chris (Amy) Tomlin, Wesley Tomlin, Reed Tomlin, Kevin Britt; and great-grandchildren, Ashton Tomlin, Emily Till, Addy Tomlin, Brylin Tomlin, Kopelyn Tomlin, Kyler Tomlin, Jeremy (Rustee) Dansby, and Paige Dansby.
Pallbearers will be Chris Tomlin, Wesley Tomlin, Reed Tomlin, Ashton Tomlin, Jason Till, and Lou Geiger. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Coosada Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends and family on Friday, March 21, 2025, from 1 to 2 PM at Prattville Memorial Chapel.
