Julian Duran Cano, 75, of Fort Worth, Texas, passed away, Tuesday, November 4, 2025 surrounded by his loving family. Julian was born December 11, 1949 to Juana Duran and Andres Cano in El Paso, Texas. Julian was one of 8 children. Julian grew up in El Paso, Texas, there he attended Bowie High School. On June 8, 1970 Julian joined the Army and spent six years serving his country receiving decorations for his bravery and skill. After returning home, Julian met the love of his life Maria “Julieta” Gonzalez. Julian and Julieta married and spent over 50 years together raising their beautiful family.
Julian was a devoted father, husband, and friend whose love for family and life left a lasting mark on everyone who knew him. A true family man, he found joy in spending time with his loved ones and sharing his passions for comic books, TV shows and movies-interests that brought people together and sparked laughter and conversation. In his younger years, he enjoyed bowling and playing softball with friends, always bringing his sense of humor and team work to everything he did. Throughout his career he built strong friendships and the respect of his coworkers through hard work, intelligence, and kindness. Loving, smart, and caring, Julian will be remembered for his generous heart, warm smile, and the way he made others feel valued and loved.
Julian is proceeded in death by Juana Duran, Jose Cano, Pete Cano, Thomas Cano, Gilbert Cano Julian is survived by his beloved wife, Maria “Julieta” Cano; and his children, Daughter Grisela Cano, Son Cesar Cano and his wife, Sonia Alicia Cano ; daughter, Annette Cano and Daughter Corina Cano App and her Husband Alexander Timothy App , and his twelve grandchildren Alexis , Damian, Alicia, Ruby, Destiny, Desirae, Delilah, Daelynn, Dakotah, Dahlia, Ezekiel, and Ezra. Ruben Cano, Armando Cano, and Ricardo Cano Is survived by his brothers
To honor Julian a visitation will be held from 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM, Saturday, November 22nd, 2025 at Alpine Funeral Home located at 2300 N Sylvania Avenue, Fort Worth, Texas 76111.
Julian Duran Cano, de 75 años, de Fort Worth, Texas, falleció el martes 4 de noviembre de 2025 rodeado de su amorosa familia. Julian nació el 11 de Diciembre de 1949, hijo de Juana Duran y Andrés Cano en El Paso, Texas. Julian era uno de los 8 hijos. Julian creció en El Paso, Texas, allí asistió a Bowie High School. El 8 de Junio de 1970, Julian se unió al Ejército y pasó seis años sirviendo a su país recibiendo condecoraciones por su valentía y habilidad. Después de regresar a casa, Julian conoció al amor de su vida María "Julieta" González. Julian y Julieta se casaron y pasaron más de 50 años juntos criando a su hermosa familia.
Julian era un devoto padre, esposo y amigo cuyo amor por la familia y la vida dejó una marca duradera en todos los que lo conocieron. Un verdadero hombre de familia, encontró alegría al pasar tiempo con sus seres queridos y compartir sus pasiones por los cómics, los programas de televisión y los intereses cinematográficos que unían a la gente y provocaban risas y conversaciones. En sus años de juventud, le gustaba jugar a los bolos y al softbol con amigos, siempre aportando su sentido del humor y trabajo en equipo a todo lo que hacía.
