Lamento mucho la muerte de Julian, era un joven muy especial y sincero, Conocí a Julian en El Salvador cuando él estuvo con El Cuerpo de Paz como profesor de música en el Bachillerato de Artes en 1971 y luego tocamos juntos en un grupo musical que yo tenía y nos hicimos amigos.
El primer recuerdo que tengo es de la primera vez que llegó a tocar y llevaba su atril, su sax, su flauta y el libro de canciones de Burt Bacharach y la primera canción que tocamos fue Raindrops Keep Falling on my Head y después tocamos varios Bossa Novas y acepto tocar con nosotros y durante casi dos años estuvimos tocando juntos y viajamos a New Orleans, Guatemala y Costa Rica.
Tengo grabaciones de algunas de las composiciones que hicimos y tocamos así como recortes de periódicos y fotografías, me gustaría hacercela llegar a sus hijos y familiares.
