Juliana B. Blaisdell

TOWNSEND: Juliana Bretas Blaisdell, 47, of Townsend died Thursday, July 17, 2025 at Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston. Juliana was born and grew up in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais Brazil on January 11,1978. She was the daughter of Marilda Alves Bretas and the late Rogerio Bretas. Juliana emigrated to the United States in 1996. She has resided in Townsend, MA with her husband and children since 2011. In addition to her mother, who resides in Hudson, MA, she leaves her husband of 26 years, Michael J. Blaisdell, their two sons, Kyle B. Blaisdell and Matthew B. Blaisdell as well as her two sisters, Renata Loureiro of Hudson, MA and Claudia Bretas of Belo Horizonte, Brazil. Juliana had worked as a hairstylist since 2000 and most recently was employed by D'Spa in Burlington, MA until early 2020 when she was diagnosed with ALS. She enjoyed trips to the casino, going to concerts, dancing and loved fashion. She always lit up any room she was in with her big smile and fun attitude. Juliana's family will receive relatives and friends at calling hours 1-3 PM Thursday, July 24, 2025 at the Anderson Funeral Home, 25 Fitchburg Road, AYER.
