LUNENBURG; Lorna Ann (Lloyd) Reed, 88, of Lunenburg, died Wednesday, October 15, 2025 at her residence.
Her husband of 53 years, Ellery A. Reed, died in April of last year.
Lorna was born in Quebec, Canada, September 23, 1937, a daughter of Edward and Ethel Mae (Wheeler) Lloyd and moved to the United States in 1968 and became a naturalized citizen in 1982. She attended Stanstead College in Quebec.
Lorna worked many years as an AVON Cosmetics salesperson. She enjoyed baking, animals and working on crossword puzzles. Every Christmastime Lorna and her family collected new children's toys and donated them to hospitalized children.
She leaves four daughters, Karen A. Workman of Oregon, Pamela D. Spinner of Lunenburg, Julie A. Pepin of Waterboro, Maine, Wendy M. Bostwick of Leominster; eight grandchildren, Ellery Reed, III, Ashley Wilson, Jasmine Sprinner, Robert Pepin, Aaron Workman, Katie Bostwick, Terrence Spinner, Melissa Bursey; eight great grandchildren, Xion Workman, Arah Workman, Elia Workman, Liam Workman, Isabelle Pepin, Elijah Pepin, Finn Bursey and Isiah Pepin.
She was the sister of the late Rodney Lloyd and George Johnson both of Canada and Ethel Mae Elston of Lunenburg.
Lorna's family will receive relatives and friends at calling hours from 4-7 PM Thursday, October 23, 2025 at the Anderson Funeral Home, 25 Fitchburg Road, (Rte. 2A) Ayer.
