FITCHBURG-Margaret M. (Boudreau) Brown, 95, a lifelong resident of Fitchburg, passed away on Friday, October 17, 2025 at her residence.
Margaret was born in Fitchburg on October 20, 1929, a daughter of the late Adelard and Yvonne (Fortier) Boudreau.
She started her working career at the former Cluett shirt factory in Leominster before taking time off to raise her family and would later return to work as an aide at the Hillcrest Nursing Home for several years prior to her retirement. Maragret was a member of St. Bernard's Parish and the Star Promenaders and Montachusett Twirlers Square Dancing Clubs. She also enjoyed playing cards, bingo, coloring, and making puzzles. She particularly cherished her trips to Foxwoods and spending time with family and friends.
Her husband of 66 years, William J. Brown passed away in 2014. She leaves two daughters, Melanie C. Lombard, and her husband, John of Fitchburg and Holly Marceau and her husband Timothy of Fitchburg, three grandchildren, John Lombard of Boston, Nicole Taylor and her husband Marcus of Texas and Kimberly Chiulli and her husband Alex of Rhode Island; six great grandchildren, Amaya, Ava, Jordan and Malia Taylor and Harper and Gabriel Chiulli; a sister, Claire David of Connecticut and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is pre-deceased by her six brothers Joseph Boudreau, Albert Boudreau, Leo Boudreau, Rudolph Boudreau, Paul Boudreau, and Henry Boudreau and her sister, Muriel Derosieres.
Funeral services will be held privately at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Winchendon.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Health Alliance Home Health & Hospice, 60 Hospital Rd, Leominster, MA 01453.
The Isabelle & Anderson Funeral Home 316 Clarendon St., Fitchburg is assisting the family with the funeral arrangements.
