Julie Ann Brumfiel, age 79, passed away on August 15, 2025 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Lafayette, Colorado. Julie was born in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin on August 11, 1946 to Cletus and Dorothy Rowan, the fourth of seven children. Her family moved to Littleton, Colorado, when she was in the eighth grade, where she would later meet her beloved husband and the love of her life, Tarry Brumfiel. They married when she was 19 and together raised their four children in Colorado.

Julie was a spirited and loving person. From her early days as a cheerleader to her cherished time singing with her sisters, she was known in her family as a true social butterfly. She had a sassy personality and a teasing sense of humor all accentuated by a beautiful smile that shone brightest later in life. Julie's stylish flair and artistic creativity were evident in all she did. She faced life's challenges with a quiet strength and grace, shrugging off difficulties with out complaint. Her stubborn determination was matched only by her generous heart; she lived to give everything to those she loved. Family was her most precious treasure, and her lovingkindness was ever-present. She will be deeply missed.

Julie is survived by her devoted husband of 59 years, Tarry, and their four children: Shelly, Lisa, Jodi and Charlie. She has three grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She also leaves behind her brother, Tim, and three sisters, Roberta, Carol, and Nancy. She was preceded in death by her parents, Cletus and Dorothy Rowan, and her brothers, Denny and Russ.

There will be a Celebration of Life open house at 4836 Falcon Drive, Frederick, Colorado 80504 onSaturday August 23rd from 2-5 pm.
