I enjoyed working with Julie at Central Carolina Technical College. She was a great encouragement to me when I was working on my degree in computer technology and I probably would not be where I am today in my career if it was not for her. Central Carolina was fortunate to have had her during her time here. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends.

Julie was one of my favorite people at Central Carolina Technical College. She was so smart and had a wonderful way of explaining "techy stuff" to "non-techy" people. Such a wonderful person. I'm sorry to hear of her passing.

I worked with Julie at Central Carolina Tech. If you needed help she was there. She was such a kind and caring person. She will be missed. Sending prayers for her family.

I worked closely with Julie at Central Carolina Tech for many years and she became a dear sweet friend of mine. She was always so good to me and I learned a lot from her. To hear of her passing just breaks my heart. I love you Julie and will miss you always. My sincere condolences to her family.

Julie and I worked together at Central Carolina Technical College. She retired and I eventually moved back to Texas, but we remained in contact. She sent cards for all the holidays, one of the first people to check on us when we had severe weather, and would just randomly send funny jokes or just say hi. I am going to miss her and all those little things. I don´t know how many times this week I have thought, "I need to check on Julie, I have not heard from her", just to remember...
Julie, I am glad you are no longer in pain and I am sure David is happy to have you by his side. Thank you for your thoughtfulness and friendship. I am going to miss you!

Julie was a prayerful person.
Here´s a prayer she shared with me some years ago:
The Knots Prayer
Dear God: Please untie the knots that are in my mind, my heart and my life.
Remove the have nots, the can nots and the do nots that l have in my mind.
Erase the will nots, may nots, might nots that may find a home in my heart.
Release me from the could nots, would nots and should nots that obstruct my life.
And most of all, Dear God, I ask that you remove from my mind, my heart and my life
all of the 'am nots' that l have allowed to hold me back, especially the thought
that l am not good enough.
Amen
