Julie Hunt Obituary
Born May 28, 1952, in Westerly, RI, she was the daughter of the late Edward Newman Charnley and Janice Marie Gardiner Gavigan. She was the devoted wife of Daniel Burlin Hunt until his death in 2016.
Julie received her Bachelor of Science from Clemson University and her Master of Science in Education from Converse College. She was an educator for many years. She was an avid animal lover. She also enjoyed hiking, traveling and watching Clemson football.
Julie was a loving mother to her daughter, Noelle K. Hunt, and a faithful friend to many.
A gathering of family and friends to honor Julie will be held on Saturday, June 18, 2022 from 1:00-3:00 pm at The McDougald Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Foothills, 390 Keowee School Road, Seneca, SC 29672.

Julie and I reconnected last year after 45 years. It was instant love again.
We had a wonderful weekend visit in March and did our best to catch up after so much time.
Julie became one of my chosen sisters.
Since she was an only child, I let her know in no certain terms that she does indeed have a sister. After that, we signed all of our texts "love you, chosen
sister.
I completely fell in love with her daughter, Noelle. She has the same kind and caring spirit as her mother.
I thank God everyday for intercepting one of my dreams to re-connect with Julie. I thought it was someone else on the family that was sick, but it turned out to be her. We both agreed that it was God´s will that we re-connected.
Goodnight, darling Julie. Your sister of the heart and soul loves you dearly.
