Julie Rowe Norvell died unexpectedly on Saturday, July 2, 2022, at the Regional Medical Center in Memphis, TN at the age of 62.
One of three children born to the late Royce Lee and Annie Lee Whitener Rowe, on October 3, 1959, in Jackson, TN. She was a graduate of Jackson State Community College with a degree in Respiratory Therapy and was a retired Registered Respiratory Therapist.
Julie is survived by a daughter, Catherine Christine Norvell Allison and husband Mark of Knoxville, TN; her grandchildren, Sarah Kate Allison and Aiden Allison; her sister, Beth Hayes of Jackson, TN; her brother, Bill Rowe and wife Denita of Murfreesboro, TN; sister-in-law Gay Beth Bolton of Jackson, TN; father-in-law, Billy Ray Barnette of Jackson, TN and a brother-in-law, Buddy Norvell of Jackson, TN; her nieces Leanne Mattingly and husband Victor, Lisa Reese, and Laura Mayo all of Nashville, TN; nephew, W.T. Rowe and wife Christy and niece Michelle Rowe Martin and husband Toby all of Murfreesboro, TN; niece "Princess" Leah Beth Bolton-Wingfield and husband Jacob of Memphis, TN.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Billy Jack, her son, Chris Norvell and her brother-in-law, Joe Hayes.
SERVICES: A graveside will be held at 11:30 AM Thursday, July 7, 2022, at Highland Memorial Gardens, with Rev. Paul Hare officiating. Burial will follow
The family is requesting that memorial contributions be directed to the Jackson-Madison County Humane Society, 23 Pinnacle Drive, Jackson, TN 38305.
